Do not confuse "offline activation" with "cracked activation." Rapid7 employs asymmetric RSA-2048 signatures. A "verified" file is mathematically proven to come from Rapid7. Cracked versions cannot replicate this without stealing private keys (which is a felony under the DMCA and Computer Fraud and Abuse Act).
