Live workouts can be scheduled for any time and are automatically loaded to your on-demand library for your athletes to take anytime. You can also setup "Replay" classes which are scheduled live classes, but the coach video is a replay of an earlier live workout.
Workouts can be imported from Today's Plan, Training Peaks or built from scratch in Velocity's advanced workout builder. Interval targets can be set within compliance zones that help athletes improve skills.
Not only can athletes see and hear you guide them through the class, but you can see all of the athletes in the class, their real time data and color coding to indicate their interval performance to the targets. Two-way audio can be enabled for smaller classes too.
Adjustable compliance zones around interval power and cadence targets engage athletes to earn points for staying in the zones and develop cycling specific skills. Velocity is built for coaches to teach their athletes proper shifting, technique and does not use ERG mode.
Build a simple studio or scale it up to include multiple cameras. We provide easy directions and guidance on three tiers of setups with hardware recommendations based on need. Velocity can also facilitate hybrid
classes with in-studio and at-home participants.
You and your coaches will have your own password-protected coaching portal that limits access to just your athletes. Within your coaching portal, you can further restrict content access based on subscription.
Getting started is easy and fast. You'll follow these five steps:
1) Set up your coaching portal
2) Setup and connect your studio
3) Import or build your workouts
4) Invite your athletes
5) Start riding!
There is a no start up or initiation fee and then there is only a small monthly fee per athlete who joins your coaching portal.
You can set up different subscription levels or do one-time events (course overviews, nutrition rides, etc.) and Velocity is just paid our single flat fee that reduces as you scale your business on Velocity..

To handle the massive influx of data, the Archive built its own high-density storage system, the Petabox , which became operational in November 2005. The "Piracy" Paradox: Legal Battles of 2005
In 2005, the stood at a critical crossroads between its mission for universal access to knowledge and the escalating legal tensions of the digital age . While often celebrated as a non-profit digital library , the year was marked by high-stakes controversies where critics and corporations frequently labeled its preservation efforts as "piracy". The Year of Infrastructure and Expansion
Those questions would resurface in another, even more unusual case that unfolded in the same period. internet archive pirates 2005
As decentralized P2P networks faced unprecedented legal crackdowns, internet users seeking free media began looking for alternative central repositories. The Internet Archive, with its massive storage capacity and open-upload policy, became an attractive target. The Vulnerability of Open Storage
Because commercial options were limited, internet users relied heavily on Peer-to-Peer (P2P) networks. However, 2005 was the exact year the legal noose tightened around traditional piracy hubs: To handle the massive influx of data, the
The outcry was so severe that the band partially backtracked just days later, restoring download access to user-contributed audience recordings, while soundboards remained stream-only. This pivotal moment underscored the fragile truce between digital archives and copyright holders. It proved that even in a "tape-friendly" ecosystem, digital preservation was entirely at the mercy of intellectual property owners. DMCA and the Safe Harbor Defense
Despite the "controlled" aspect, major publishers (including Hachette, HarperCollins, Penguin Random House, and Wiley) argued that the creation of the digital file itself was an infringing reproduction, and that libraries do not have the right to digitize and loan books without a license. The Year of Infrastructure and Expansion Those questions
The case raised profound legal questions that resonated far beyond the parties involved. At its core was a simple but vexing issue: The Internet Archive and most search engines treat robots.txt as a voluntary convention—a polite request, not a binding legal command. William Patry, a former copyright counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives, called the idea of treating robots.txt as a “technical protection measure” under the DMCA “nonsensical” and suggested that Healthcare Advocates was abusing the legal system.
By the end of 2005, the intersection of the Internet Archive and digital piracy forced a evolution in how digital libraries managed user-generated content. The Archive implemented stricter moderation, improved metadata requirements, and faster response times for copyright holders to ensure its survival as a legitimate historical repository.

While we are striving to make Velocity as accessible as possible, there will naturally be some technological hurdles we haven’t foreseen or can’t retro fit to meet older standards of compatibility.
Currently Velocity can communicate with Bluetooth devices via the Chrome platform on a PC. An IOS solution is in development as we continue to strive to make Velocity accessible across all devices and operating systems.
We are establishing partnerships with third party partners and developing workout files to be downloadable in formats that are compatible with leading fitness partners. Currently, your workouts can not automatically upload to Strava and Garmin Connect, but should be able to soon. We will be adding new partners as well.
