Firmware must be obtained directly from the official support portal.
Do not simply download the latest version. You must use the Fortinet Upgrade Path Tool to see if you need "interim" versions. Moving from a very old version (e.g., 6.4) to a new one (e.g., 7.4) often requires installing 2–3 middle versions first to convert the configuration file correctly.
