Đến năm 2010, BIDV chính thức phối hợp với Công ty Cổ phần Đào tạo Quản lý Trực tuyến OMT để xây dựng và triển khai hệ thống E-learning đầu tiên. Những con số thống kê sau 4 năm vận hành cho thấy sự thành công bước đầu: hệ thống đã đào tạo được hơn 22 nghìn lượt cán bộ, chiếm khoảng 8% tổng số lớp và 35% tổng số lượt học viên. Giai đoạn 2012-2018, Viện Đào tạo đã tổ chức thành công 2.162 lớp tập trung/E-learning cho gần 154.000 lượt học viên, với tỷ lệ đánh giá tốt và rất tốt lên tới gần 94%.
